RIP Victoria Flanagan, Astrologer from Chicago
R.I.P., Victoria
Victoria Flanagan, the astrologer I have done videos with has passed away. I met her online and never met her in person. She would email me about Trump and the astrology connected and I invited her to do videos with me.
Around the time we did the first video, she told me she had been battling cancer for a while. By the time we did the last video she had metastatic cancer, it had spread to parts of her body. I helped her with energy treatments and even wrote about it here. Even though she said I helped her feel better it was not enough, God had other plans.
I never shared information about her health with you of course because this was a private issue. Over Christmas I sent her an online card and she wrote back saying that she would like to do another video, if her health improved. I did not hear back from her for a long time. So I searched for her and as it turned out she passed away on February 28. She's been gone for a while now.
We were not close friends, I did not know much about her private life. We did not share much other than conversation about our videos. But I am grateful for our time together and I wish her all the best in heaven. She says hi I can see it now as write this to let you know.
One interesting note: I had posted a video with her and one viewer/client from Chicago emailed me to ask if she was THE Victoria astrologer she knew from a choir she sang in decades ago. I sent her email to Victoria because I didn’t want to ‘out her’ to strangers. Yes they had known each other decades ago and re-connected via a YouTube video.
She told me about Victoria and her mother, who had been a famous Opera patron in Chicago. To hear her describe it, Victoria was a special figure embedded in her city’s history of arts.
Then I remembered Victoria had mentioned she liked watching me talk about the Italian cards because it reminded her of her youth and her years with her mother in Italy and France if i recall the details correctly. She later told me more about her story. She was glamorous and reserved, when style meant something, and an extremely intelligent and educated person.
Last year I sent out a link about Jill Wine-Banks’ memoir scheduled to come out in 2020. She said Jill was her from Chicago, a favorite among the legal gals at MSNBC. She was going to order her memoir for the book stores she managed. The book came out a little before her passing. I have it on my audiobook list. Time to press play.
Rest in love and peace, Victoria.
Below are the videos we did back in September and October of 2019.
