What happens to pets in the afterlife?

On the same weekend I decided to do the group readings about Veterans, I also wanted to look into pets and animals, and their connections to us here and in the afterlife.

When I first started actively seeking a connection to people I knew in the afterlife, I saw that the person who had passed away was there with pets I recognized and had met here, who had passed away long before she did. I knew in some shape or form, animals are connected to us in the afterlife and I wanted to open up for the group to ask about their pets. There were some really interesting insights about the role animals play in our lives, the role of dogs vs cats, and why we have a certain pet at a specific moment in our lives.
